Otto Frei Professional Soldering KitThis kit is for someone who already owns a good collection of jewelry tools including a torch set up and just needs soldering specific equipment to be used in a typical jewelry repair shop. This kit assumes the buyer owns a torch system.This professional soldering kit differs from our other soldering kits in a few ways. Several other items found in this kit but not the others are the Fire Resistant Apron, the German Soldering Goggles with #5 Lenses and a Rotating Soldering Board, extra Soldering Picks and a larger bottle of Soldering Flux.Just add the torch of your choice and suitable solder material and you are ready to begin hard soldering, as we call it in the jewelry industry. Hard soldering is referred to as brazing in other industries, and is different from low temperature soldering (called soft soldering) that is done with soldering irons and low temperature solders like tin or lead solders.
